I had pondered some nonsense about "this here's the part where I drink til yer drunk. Drink so much you'll put hair on my chest! We drink til the drunkerest one falls outta my seat, then the last drunk drinkin' wins!"

But instead, I've poisoned your drink. Or have I poisoned my drink? Does it really matter now that I've gone and switched our seats around as well? Each of us sits on a trap door. One leads to a tank full of ravenous aquatic assault tigers, and the other does not. Though I have this vial of aquatic tiger repellent, although it might be antidote, if you want it.

Oh, you really shouldn't have sniffed the poison vial just now. HAHA, just kidding, it's only harmful if imbibed. Though I may be lying.

Oh, and don't bother getting up, I've placed a singularity by the door.

Choose a glass and drink. You may take the vial or not. When we both drink, the doors shall open, and may the best man survive.

OR, you could up the ante? Would anyone care to bet his or her life?

Indeed "up the ante," I will. I bet both of your lives that neither of you shall become catfish food. For, if you might take just a moment of your time to observe, you were late for your reservation and those adorable infatuated newlyweds to your left were seated in the trapped booth.

Of course, it is also entirely possible that the bride is the daughter of a certain particularly overprotective mobster Don, who had her outfitted with a dead(wo)man's switch at birth, the deactivation of which would trigger the failsafe on the ICARUS orbital laser system which tracks her every move. If this is the case, it is indeed most unfortunate that one of the finely polished silver eating utensils carefully laid out before you is rigged to detonate the 2lb of plastic explosives and shrapnel that were surgically implanted in her lover's brain while he was in his post-bachelor party haze.

And so, you must be very careful of which utensils you use. Although I am certain I don't need to remind you; your dinner tonight is a seven-course meal served by genuine alumnus of the Alfred Winchester School of Combat Butlery & Cuisine; and they have been known to skewer patrons who do not abide by proper dining etiquette. Every utensil before you will be used during your meal. Oh my, I do hope you have studied which spoon the Winchester School advises be used for soups. Or do they use any spoon at all?

Ah, but I have merely ordered a beverage! In any case, now, having taken your seats here, I should inform you both that, imbedded in said seats, and cleverly disguised, are titan land mines. Should your posture falter, or should you attempt to move your seats or walk away from the table, the mines will explode upward, killing you. Of course, the deactivation pins have also been cleverly disguised as utensils. Which one is your pin? Do you care to find out? Of course, this means you will have to join us for dinner!
I hope you've studied your own trap, sir!

But.. I AM a robot! Clearly the pointy antennaes on my head are proof enough! Also, I will now tie myself to my seat with duct-tape, so as to not loose my perfect seating position or contact with the furniture, even if I would move (or get moved) through the room.

Also, I choose to eat with shrimp fork of a remote patron seated several booths away which I snatch from him with a adeptly handled bullwhip.

Then I down your drink, confident in the fact that, even if I am delusional about being android in nature, that I could expel the poison from my system by sheer willpower.

I then proclaim "Ηа сдoровe! " and throw the glass forcefully towards the door in complete disregard of the direness of my situation.

I proceed to stare at you wide-eyed in a confident way bordering on the insane:

Congratulations! You fall through the floor to be mauled by an aquatic tiger as well as several Winchester Alumni, then explode!

But it seems the drink was not poisoned...

The booths have all been on fire for the better part of this entire thread, no one bothered to put them out. The utensils and the mines have both already exploded and the napkins have come alive and are charging their death rays.
